We are pleased to announce that Arcada University of Applied Sciences has joined our international university network EduNet. The university is thus our third EduNet partner in Finland.
“As a member of EduNet, Arcada benefits from a worldwide exchange of knowledge. We strengthen our competences in automation technology and build valuable contact networks. It is also a great opportunity for us to share the long educational experience we have in this field,” says Kim Roos, degree programme director for the programme in Energy and Environmental Engineering at Arcada.
“The network brings together expertise, mindsets and technologies related to Industry 4.0, the fourth industrial revolution. Especially questions regarding energy monitoring, reused energy and sustainable automation processes are relevant. Sharing the latest insights via both innovative research and practical knowledge benefit students and staff, but also the entire automation sector in Finland and globally”, says sales director Hans Lindström, Phoenix Contact.
The universities affiliated with the network receive PLCnext Technology Training Boards from the Eduline product line for their automation technology teaching, as well as the opportunity to participate in annual EduNet conferences, online trainings, and to the EduNet Learning Management System (ELMS).
Currently, more than 150 universities from 37 countries are already members of the EduNet network.
